Day 2 & 3 on Letrozole: Drawing Inspiration

It's December 3rd, 2025. It's Day 3 of Letrozole Treatment to force my body to ovulate. Our plans for the holiday season are now set in stone, travel booked & all! I've been feeling especially grateful & nostalgic as we head towards the Winter Solstice. Our family always tallies Gains & Losses around this time of year. I enjoyed talking about it the last couple years w/ ppl who've seen benefit in this griot practice. I've decided I need to give ppl the chance to better support our causes. Bein an advocate makes me feel especially tender; representing & mediating for the community while keeping the stories private is a position I highly respect & covet deeply. Keeping note of things that can be mundane is an essential part of my job as keeper of the histories. Yesterday was such a day.

I spent time in the garden & outside with the dog in a beautiful, breezy, cool autumn day. I harvested & trained some tomatoes; turned the garden tower, ate my meals on time, did some decorating, tidying, & connection with the community. I spent a good amount of time practicing drills with my niece & really savored the practice. It had been a while since I did drills myself, & along with recently unearthing recordings of myself playing flute has made me more receptive to practicing more consistently. I actually want to learn more songs in Japanese & spend more time recording stuff I've had interested in.

In the test kitchen, things have been going so well! I've mostly cracked protein pastries! I made a really great cake/brownie that i'm excited to share with my bestie, my tribe, my friends, & the world. Feeling ready to finish the work for filing the patent.

My Gingerbread Club is taking a break this year! With the weird state of the world, I'd rather foster community by doing tandem activities w/ ppl who need digital companionship. Throwing Virtual Tea Parties has been a lot of fun & I'm ready to start meeting on a more consistent schedule.
