The Blog isn't Dead! Disgusted & Busy

So the 1st round of Letrozole was a big bust!

Our country is slipping further into fascism w/ the arrest of journalists doing their constitutionally protected jobs.

Ppl been playin' in my face.

Honestly idk why I'm doing this anymore, or if it's even in the right direction.

I've been a steward & hearth worker for several years. I pivoted out of counseling & into community management & support. Most recently, I've been providing postpartum allocare for a local in my neighborhood; dealing w/ the eruption tephra clean up while getting choked out by the vog.

Now it's onto the next cycle of ttc while dancing through political mess. I'm stressed out already. It's Black History Month & Chinese New Year is around the corner. Normally I would be excited but honestly I'm not. There's not much to look forward to when you've already achieved most of your goals.

In January, I traveled for my 2nd Annual Post-Bariatric appointment. The vog was oppressive but my tests for illness were negative & we soldiered thru for an A+ from my doctors.

While my 1st Letrozole course homework was a failure, we adjusted the dose. Just looking for a return to normalcy. Today is Day 4 of the adjusted dosage. Feeling moody & irate. I just want to go to my land & ignore the world for a while with my trees.

I'm gonna focus on crafts & packing shit for Japan. It's not that there's nothing to do; it's that I don't currently get the point of hollering at ppl about solutions they don't really care about. Obviously I can't help myself, bc passion is dumb. So here's a few examples of what allocare is, isn't, & why the solutions set forward by well meaning laymen outside the care industries fall short.

Things That AREN'T Allocare:

• Daycare [ECE(Early Childhood Education) Professionals are educators, not Hearth Workers.]

• Hospice Care [CNA/NP(Certified Nurse Practitioners/Nurse Practitioners) are Healthcare not Hearth Managers.]

• Homeless/Temporary Shelter Facilities [Bunkhouses & Shelters are Survival Accommodations, not Hearths.]

• Postpartum Doula Care [Birth Workers are not Hearth Makers.]

• Cleaning/Sanitation Services [Maids/Janitors are Hygiene & Waste Management Professionals. They may work w/ Hearth Workers, but Sanitation is their role.]

• Libraries [While many resources & social programs may be accessed, libraries are not Hearths]

• Gyms/Bathhouses [These minimally vetted 3rd Spaces are not equipped to provide Hearth Care]

• Gardening/Landscaping Maintenance [A Steward may cover these tasks, but gardeners & landscapers don't necessarily hold the same roles, expectations, & responsibilities that a Steward does.)

Things That ARE Allocare:

• Pet Sitting/Concierge

• House Sitting

• Au Pair/ Nanny Services

• Kennel Services

• Kids Klubs

• Clubhouses [Prohibited in Some Areas]

• Private Lounges [Unmanned or Staffed]

• Camps/Lodges/Retreats [Hearth Amenities &/or Venue/Accommodations Provided]

Allocare Solutions like 3rd SpaceFacillities aside; I wanna put the container orchard here in Volcano in it's permanent place, which is supposed to be on the Ag Land in Ka'u. Black History Month seems like a good time to tell some stories, connect w/ ppl, & decide what's next. GofundMe may be incoming. Idk yet. We'll see. I only half heartedly want to invite ppl to join me. On the other hand, I trust no one & would rather pull my teeth than teach another damn thing to a single soul.
